We are looking for aspiring future female leaders that want to gain first-hand boardroom experience and contribute a fresh perspective to our board discussions.

About the Scheme: This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world boardroom exposure over the course of a school year. As an apprentice, you will:

  2. Gain insights into boardroom dynamics, decision-making processes, and strategic planning.
  3. Be assigned a mentor who will guide you through board papers and support you with any questions.

Commitments: The selected apprentice must be able to commit to attending board and committee meetings as necessary. This may involve coordination with your employer to ensure their support. Confidentiality is paramount, and the apprentice must not share any information outside the boardroom.

Application Process: To apply for the Board Apprenticeship Scheme, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit Your Application: Send your CV and a cover letter detailing your interest in the scheme and how you meet the eligibility criteria to [email protected]. Please submit your application by November 15th.

The college has always been a champion of diversity and equal opportunity. The proposed Board Apprenticeship Scheme is an extension of this commitment, serving as a catalyst for aspiring female leaders to learn, grow, and potentially contribute to our school's governance and leadership.
